As this joyous season comes to it's climax this day,
Master and i wish you all the most joyous of holidays.
We have been blessed by meeting so many of you rt.
The past has seen new people arrive and old ones leave. Fights and
name calling at times prevailed. Yet underneath it all is the caring and
love that comes from being family. Many of you we may never meet,
yet you have become part of our extended family.
You have cried and laughed with us; shared the good and the bad.
Our wish for all of you is to find what you desire, find your happiness,
and then share with the world.
As Master and i begin a new journey together,
we hope that you, our friends, will share with us as we go forward.

Master Faustus and His wench

The Christmas Story according to Luke 2:4-14

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth,
into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem...
To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
And so it was, that while they were there, the days were
accomplished that she should be delivered.
And she brought forth her firstborn son,
and wrapped him in swaddling clothes,
and laid him a manage,; because
there was no room for them at the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the
Lord came upon them, and the glory of the
Lord shone round about them;
and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them,"Fear not: for behold, I bring you
good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto
to you is born this day, in the city of David,
a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign onto you;
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manager."
And suddenly, there was with the angel a mulitude of the
heavenly host praising God, and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth, peace,
good will toward men.

A New Year's Prayer

Dear Lord, please give me...
A few friends who understand me
and yet remain my friends
A work to do which has real value,
without which the world
would feel the poorer...
A mind unafraid to travel,
even though the trail be not blazed
An understanding heart...
A sense of humor.
Time for quiet, silent meditation.
A feeling of the presence of God.
And the patience to wait
for the coming of these things,
with the wisdom to know them
when they come
