Ximena was born a healthy child and grew up in a small town with her mother and father. She led a fairly normal, but very sheltered, uneventful life until her teens. At this time a few life altering events occurred. The first is when she lost her hearing and the second is the death of her parents. Her parents died just before she was supposed to leave to come to the City to begin taking classes at the University. Ximena postponed her trip until after the reading of the wills in which she was shocked to find out there is a possibility that she has a sibling.
