Tim Wallace was born the second son to Thornsen and Margaret (Meg) Wallace In Manhattan NY on May the 3rd 1978. They had hopes of him attending an Ivy League School. Tim however had other plans. He would not become a Doctor or Lawyer like his siblings, Charles the older and Susan the younger. Tim was the free spirit of the family. Art was his passion and so was New York. He didnt wish to leave the city after highschool and so he took up a small loft in Soho and worked his way thru an Art Major at NY City College. While not an Ivy Leaguer, Tim was no slouch when it came to work or ambition and soon found himself painting his way into a second degree, a teaching degree. The degrees hung upon the wall amidst his paintings and sketches. But First he would travel, seeing the sights he envisioned in his head before plunging head long into a career.
Now, what hot blooded, free spirited, educated young man wants to travel and live alone? None.. or next to none. Tim had his share of romances, all of which failed miserably. He just couldnt find his match no matter how hard he tried. You know what they say about a watch pot never boiling.. well the moment Tim took his mind off the stove and the pot, it boiled right over.
He arrived one rainy afternoon at Heathrow Airport at the designated 2 hours previous to take off. This measure is simply to give the millions of flyers plenty of time to stand in various lines with various amounts of their belongings strewn about, being sniffed by bomb dogs. It was during just such a wait that he met Val. Both Traveling to NY, Both having to wait the extra 3 hours because of rain delays and both delighted to sit at the Starbucks kiosk drinking coffee. They both had good novels with them, nothing too trashy or mind bendingly dull. They both wore an open, inviting expression and Val laughed when overhearing Tim order a "Non fat, double expression, soy, no foam, no lid, double cupholder latte" just for the fun of saying it all because what he really liked to drink is straight black coffee. The fun of it then turned on him when he realized he had to drink what he order.
But it was that happy, overheard laughter that caught Tim's attention. For the next 5 hours the two talked, laughed and ordered more coffee, plenty of more coffee. They managed to get their seats rearranged on the plane so they could sit next to one another and talk for the 8 hour flight. Neighter one caring to sleep.
Tim offered to show Val the city from a locals point of view and the next few weeks ensued long days and romantic evenings visiting his favorite kitchy restaurants, quaint cafes, old book stores and trendy Soho shops. It was a perfect match. Valerio Marin, was the man of Tim's dreams. An Ex-Footballer for Spain and England, Valerio, had invested wisely before an injury brought a halt to his career. Together they lived in the loft in NY, Traveled thru Europe, Spent summers in Spain with Val's family and generally lived a carefree life.
Time comes however in every man's life that its time to settle down and become more grounded.
To the pleasure of both Families, the boys decided it was a good time to do this together. Truely dedicated to one another, Val and Tim have come to "The City" to find a home, make some friends and live out an enjoyable life together.
