Sullivan Dane

Sullivan was born in Manchester, England in 1977. His early life was rough, a drug addict mother and no sign of a confirmed father, he ran with the gangs of Manchester for most of his early life.
An altercation with some powerful people led him to flee his home city and head for the bright lights of London, to see if he could do any better there. It wasn't long before his little petty crimes brought him into a confrontation with the London underworld.
The main guy in charge of London's organised crime was Jack London, a tough, no-nonsense guy who took a shine to Sullivan almost straight away. Jack had a daughter, Monica, about the same age as Sullivan and, while he loved Monica above all else, had always wanted a son, someone he felt he could hand over the reins to one day. Because of this, Jack took Sullivan in and raised him like the son he never had.
The London family embraced Sullivan eagerly and he became particularly close to Monica as they grew up. She had her father's no nonsense attitude and his capacity for extreme violence too. And though Sullivan and Monica were raised as brother and sister, they became a lot closer than that, their violent fights too often turning into more carnal exchanges, a fact they kept secret from Jack London who died without ever knowing how close the two were.
Jack helped Sullivan create contacts in London, build up a client base for Sullivan's business, which was mostly cleaning up for Jack. He'd take the bodies of guys Jack had whacked and makes sure they were never, ever found again. It was a job he was good at and it made him rich.

In 2008, Jack London finally reaped the whirlwind when he tried to put a stop to Polish criminals taking over his turf in London. Three weeks of violence on London's streets followed and Sullivan was kept very busy. Eventually, the Polish succeeded in taking out Jack London and took over the crime in London. Sullivan fled, heading for The City and not planning on going back.
Now he's here, rich, young and trying to go straight. He recently discovered that Monica London had survived the purge of London and was in The City too. He's not sure if he's happy about that or not. What he does know is that in the few months he's been here, the Polish seem to be leaving both he and Monica alone and that, he IS happy with.

Sullivan bought the old '8trax' eighties disco nightclub and renovated it, turning it into Electric Dreams, his own version of an eighties nightclub. It was his first genuine attempt to go straight but the place was never full and Sullivan left The City to return to London last year.

Now he's returned to the city, still as wealthy as always but with new underworld contacts in London and a plan in mind. The first thing he's going to need is a damn good lawyer...
