Well, chances are, if you are here, you wanna know how to FTP a file to the State of Insanity. I have been using CuteFTP for some time now, and am pretty familiar with how it works. If you send me cash, small unmarked bills, no consecutive serial numbers, I will tell ya how to use it. 

ONLY kidding.....DUH.....*wink*

The first thing you have to do, is download a copy of CuteFTP from here! There is both a 16bit version, appropriate for Windows 3.xx,and a 32bit version, for Windows '95, so make sure you download the correct version.

Then unzip it, and double click its little icon, and it will present you with your first screen, it should look something like this:



Now, you need to add the State of Insanity to the list, so you can connect to SOI, and transfer your files there. The first step, would be to click Personal FTP Sites, which will change the display to look like this:



Now you need to click the button that says Add site, so we can add the important data about The State of Insanity's FTP site. After clicking it, you will get a window like this:



Looks a little scary, huh. Lots of little boxes and check off's that need attention.

Well, we are gonna simplify this for ya' a whole bunch. Just fill in the Boxes like this: Now you will have a screen the looks like this:



Cool, huh! Now you are ready to connect, and ftp some files, aren't ya!! Well, it won't be much longer. Just a few more things you need to do, before you will be suckin up internet bandwidth with your all important files!

First, you need to go to your control room at SOI, by clicking the [Controls] link on any of the chat pages, then click the [FTP Control] link, and finally, push the button that says 'Create External FTP Directory' it looks like this:
