Spring was the younger sister of an older and very headstrong brother. She was always in the shadow of him and his accomplishments. She let her brother control her for all that time and never said a word about it. For so many years she bought the line about the meek inheriting the earth.
She married at a young age just to get out of the house but that turned out to be just as big a mistake. Her husband was no better than her brother had been. While she didn't mind him being in control, he pushed it too far when he cheated on her. The marriage only lasted 10 months. The divorce was ugly and caused Spring so much pain that she swore off men as partners ever again. She would be friendly with them as long as they earned that privilege but would not let it go beyond friendship.
Now 22 years old, she is spreading her wings and hoping to make a new life for herself.
