Solaris

I am Sir Solaris, Lord and Master of Shiring Castle. I rule here with the help and counsel of My Lady, Ra'chelle...a woman of extraordinary beauty. she was created for Me, by the fairies of Shiring, to love Me and live with Me, here. Welcome...I hope you will find our home to your liking...

I remember little of My parents, having been raised by a couple who took Me in as a small child. I became a squire at a young age, studying for knighthood. Though I did well at My lessons, I was forced to leave My home before My training was completed.

I wandered the countryside, stopping at each village and castle along the way, in search of One who would teach Me, for on His deathbed, I promised My 'father' that I would complete My training, and bring honor to his home.

It was quite difficult, for various reasons, to find a Knight who was able to help Me. Eventually, I came upon Shiring Castle, where I met the Lord of the Manor, Christopher. He and His Lady, Mallori, were the Master and Mistress of the Realm, and they took Me in. Lord Christopher was quite accomplished with weapons, and He tutored Me, in battle as well as in life. It was He who Knighted Me.

As time passed, the castle became inhabited by a most unwelcome demon, Shadow Demon. Shadow Demon abducted Mallori, and forced her to carry his demon child. When the child was born, Mallori was carried deep into the dungeon of Shiring and entombed in the rock, for an eternity.

Lord Christopher learned of the Shadow Demon's creator, and was about to embark on a journey to find him, for help in freeing Mallori, when a mysterious woman appeared to help. With her earthen magic, she was able to free Mallori, alive and well.

Lord Christopher and Mallori left a few days later in search of the demon creator, leaving the castle in My charge.
