Samar Charles~Her Story
Samar Charles, or as she's known by her friends Sammie and her enemies Gossip Girl, came to the city in 2009 to join the staff of The City Voice as the gossip columnist for the Sugar high column of city life and the occasional dabbling with the love and romance in the city through her Dr. Sammie column. In the city she's found the love of a good man, a good job and she's starting to develop some good friendships. A lucky girl on her way to a future not yet written. Writing it alive with the stroke of her pen. This would be novelist is about to try to take the publishing world by storm and see exactly what it has in store...
Samar was raised in Boston Mass, Only child to two loving parents her mother from the city of Mumbai or (Bombay) and father from small town Massachusetts. Reighly to be exact. They met in college and married fell in love and had this lovely child. Her father passed when she was in college and her mother lives to this day. So how did Samar become interested in her field what gives her the right to work towards being published in sexual and relationship studies?
So lets€™s get down to the good stuff! Who am I? Why should you respect me or care what it is that I have to say on these subjects? Lets€™s take a look at my experience. I have a PhD in sociology, as well as in psychology with a focus on cultural diversity. I have focused my career on the idea that not only is deviant behavior warranted, but required, to maintain a healthy balance in our world. My journalism degree came from North Western University, After choosing not to follow my teaching aspirations, I decided, rather, to take my ideas, diverse as they may be, out into the world. So that lays me at your feet.
I have explored the sexual practices of various tribes in Africa, as well as spent time in many cultures, putting together a study that I hope to one day plunder into a book of modern sexual interest. Until then, lets€™s just see what kind of study we can make out of the people of this city.
