History:

Samantha comes from a middle American family. Father worked outside the home as a bank manager. Mom stayed home with her and her fraternal twin brother, Alex. The two were almost inseperable growing up. Both of them knew no fear of things. Much to the utter consternation of their parents. Exceled in their studies and extra curricular activities. Graduating at the top of their class. Reluctantly their parents allowed them one last hoorah before University classes started in the fall. Europe called to them they said. So, to Europe they went. Traveling all over England, Scotland and then fianlly to lovely Ireland. Backpacking it and staying in hostels. Working here and there.

One evening, Sam and Alex went out for a walk after finishing a shift up at a local pub. Sam, against her usual judgement let her brother take lead in direction. Needless to say, the two soon found themselves lost. Sam couldnt believe it. Lost in the middle of no where and it was pitch dark. All they had was a couple of flash lights between them. Alex was very reassuring to her that they would get back to civilization soon. She had turned around to tell her brother just exactly what she thought of his directionaly ability when they were attacked.

Sam woke up in the hospital hooked up to iv's and such. Her parents had been sent for. Her beloved twin had not made it. The authorities were not sure what had happened or where the attacker or attackers had gotten to, but the case would not be closed until the perps were apprehended. The officers were thanked and her folks left Sam alone to go speak to the doctors. Sam took the opportunity to unhook herself from the iv's and found what was left of her tattered clothing. still stained with blood. She tucked her hair up into the baseball cap. It was all she had left of her twin. She already felt different. Alone. Half of what she once was. What the road held out there for her was definitely a mystery. And for the first time in her young life, Sam was alone.

Samantha found a home in Dublin. Taken in by the Shadow there. Given a chance to begin to grow and heal again. Thru small steps to outrigth full blown runs, Samantha moved thru life there. Given a chance by Henry Fitzroy to broaden her world, he took her on his trip to Spain. It was there the sheltered world and life that Samantha knew would forever be changed by a simple walk on the beach.

She met a man by the name of Miguel and he cliamed her as his. No, she didnt know at the time who and what he was. Samantha has in the short time with him, come to care for even and despite the line he comes from, has begum to love him. Gladly, she has become his Pomme de Sange. Never has she felt so needed, wanted, cared for and dare it be said.. loved.

The continued road will always have its twists and turns. However, truly straight roads, while they may be the safest, are boring.
