Greetings. My name is Derek Edwards. I'm the Federal
Bureau of Investigations Special Agent In Charge that has
recently been assigned to the city. I'm hoping my assignment
is temporary, so I can get back to my normal job back in
Washington DC.
I'm 33 years old, a graduate of Brown University, where I received
my degree in Criminal Justice. After leaving Brown, I attended
Harvard Law School, where I obtained my law degree.
My assignment here is twofold:
1. I'm here as a special attache to the Inspector General's
Office within the Department of Justice. My task is to investigate
possible malfeasance, corruption and/or conduct unbecoming of
Federal Officers in the area. In short, I am the local DOJ
Internal Affairs Agent.
2. I'm also here to assist any all efforts to eradicate organized
crime in the area, assisting local law enforcement officials
in any way I can.
Rest assured I intend to perform both of these assignements
to the best of my ability, as I've been assured that a Deputy
Directorship awaits me if... no, make that when I'm
successful.
