From Marcella, Spain, in the far southern tip, Melisenda travels to fill the postion Dumbledore begged her to. Forty six years old, she was born in Spain, transferred to Hogwarts Primary when she was fourteen, and had gone to her seventh year. Then it was back to Spain to study locally, and she'd majored in Charms.

She'd married at 23, birthed a son, and lost both her husband and babe in an upheaval over Voldemort's return. She'd never known another man, but loved and missed her deceased husband religiously. Such was her life.

So now she was here to teach the students Charms.
