To capture her immortal image
she would have to pose, and there
our eyes would meet across the canvas,
then she would become aware

of what, in prose, one still can capture,
even though the subject sees
no strokes of brush or flights of rapture,
nor ever knows a finished piece.

I spent several hours getting the skin tones 'just right'
on this drawing...then I found the 'Metal Effects' filter in
Greg's Factory Output Vol. II and turned her to copper
with a verdigris patina. This is my favorite drawing
that I have done with the Wacom tablet.
