Born within the depths of the Marianas Trench, Noema was destined to be Nephili from birth and bred into the role she would some day take for her people around the world. By the time her mother, the former Nephili passed on, Noema had traveled the world and experienced a great many adventured and hardships.
Ready to take the throne, she claimed her throne and her Asteron both during the Nephili-ra-Nehla ceremony, a ceremony to celebrate her rise to power and place at the helm.
Her Asteron and Noema had many wonderful years together, ruling side by side. It was expected they would be together a lifetime and that she would, in time, bear his children to carry on the royal line.
Instead... after just over a brief decade together, he was taken from her. The Asteron passed away in a horrendous land-based accident in which her beloved mate had simply found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time.
In her grief, Noema has chosen to travel in order to give herself time to heal. With a handful of the Nautaulus with her, she has now found her way to the warm waters just off the coast of Floridian shores.
