History: Born near Denver Colorado his family moved to New York City for several years where he learned valuable lessons on how conduct business. His father Krajier Serrano then got a job with a Mining company on a newly colonized world taking both his wife and son with him.

It wasn't long after arriving that the young Nicholai found himself missing the fast paced excitement of his life on earth. After his eighteenth birthday he joined the crew of a freighter and never returned to his family. Having clawed his way up the ranks in the crew he then bought out the ship and formed his own trading company. Out competing, or flat out driving his rivals out of business he took over small companies until he formed Serrano Enterprises.

Several years of carrying any cargo that could make him money increased his wealth to the point he thought of investing else where. Purchasing several different electronics companies he combined them with Serrano Enterprises to form VGDP Holdings. Which includes the remnants of two PDA manufacturers and several other small companies that make home and ship. And two that make security equipment for civilian security forces.

When he was thirty five he fell in love with his secretary Julliet McAllister. Following a short two months of dating they where married. The marriage survived two years before they filed for divorce. It was not a friendly divorce. As she now lives comfortably on alimony.
