Mornie is cold to others, polite to his dark fae kin and the only time warmth touches his voice is when he is speaking to his creatures, especially Isil.

Background:

Mornie had always been fond of animals of all species whether they be of one word or the other. He has raised many animals and does so to this day. He also takes in other animals that some would consider dangerous. He also has been known to sell these magical creatures to those who wish for a new start, for second chances, redemptions or the granting of a special wish.

Many turn down this offer to own the exotic animals he cares for because somehow, they seem to realize that the price may be too high. It hasn't been determined whether this is because of the look in Mornie's violet eyes, the dark faes' reputation for being just who they are or the animals themselves.

Yet, there are those, willing to pay any cost to get what they want; be it love or redemption and that is why he's here. Some would argue that he's helping others in a backhanded way by teaching them a lesson, however nasty it could be. Either way, there is rarely a happy ending.

The rules are simple:

Specify your desire, whatever it may be and the animal most suited to you will be given to you. The only thing is that you must enter into a contract with Mornie that you will do everything he tells you to do in caring for the creature and if should anything go wrong, he is free from any blame; since he did tell you what to do. Every creature has a specific care instructions and should something go wrong, something disastrous will happen. Appearances are deceiving so be aware of what type of creature you receive.
