Powers - Monique manipulates light to suit her own needs. She can bend the light around herself and around others within a 5ft radius. She can also control the intensity of her light from a candle hue to a blinding retina burning blast. Monique has the ability to concentrate light in the form of a laser beam from her prismatic eyes and can see in both infrared and ultra-violet spectrums. She has regenerative powers through UV light and is immune to light based attacks.

Brief History - Monique and her family left Paris a few years after she was born. She was raised in Boston, but spent her summers in France with her Grandparents up until two years ago when they passed away in a car accident. She speaks french and english. Her family accepted her and her mutation without question, even though no one in the family had ever been affected previously by the x-gene.
