History - If you've seen the movie "Coming to America" one would wonder if it were patterned after Mazz's life story or vice versa. Born in the Busoga kingdom, Masamba grew up a proud yet willful son to his even prouder parents. They raised him to become King, ruler of the kingdom and of the nest, but Mazz had different plans. He wanted to see the world outside of Uganda, even outside of Mother Africa and the only way to do that would be to leave. He did so when he was 21, much to the dismay of the royals he left behind. Eventually his brother would become King and would rule Busoga and the nest, leaving Mazz to live his life free of the responsibilities of home. That freedom came at a price, as now Masamba's funds are not as infinite as they used to be.

After 8 years of living free, as well as living below his station as royalty, his travels bring him to the states. At first he stopped in Nashville, got a job and found himself the protector of a red tree boa shifter named Sierra, a woman with a troubled past. It was the need to make sure she is well cared for that prompted Mazz to make sure his financial business is sound, solid and back under his control once again.

It took time and travel, trips to the countries where the accounts were held, legal battles with his brother and his lawyers, but eventually Mazz won the legal fight. With his funding secure, it was time to resettle. Miami seemed like a nice place for a couple of snakes to hang their hats, but it just wasn't as good a fit as Palm Beach seems to be. At least this the hope.
