~Martin Donnelley~

Martin was born in the Staffordshire in England to a very well to do family, only sent to the finest of schools through out his life. As a young boy Martin showed exceptional intelligence, among other abilities.

At the age of thirteen Martin went through the normal changes of a young teen. Not to mention some other changes as well. Anything out of the ordinary that happened to him seemed to always be chalked up to puberty.

As the teen years went on some of the changes did not go away. He always heard this strange animalistic voice in his head. Almost like a guide.

Telling him he was diffrent, special. More than human.

These voices are what led Martin to psychiatry. He wanted to find out what was going on with out everyone knowing he was mad. What would that do to his family name? Couldn't have a mad son lurking about. So he kept it well hidden. Not an easy task to say the least. Martin graduated validictorian of his high school. He went on to study at Oxford University, and did well.

Yes school came easy as always. It was his night life that seemed to get more interesting. Some mornings he would wake in his bed, clothes torn, not able to remember anything from the night before. He made himself believe that it was college life. Wild parties. Yet he never even remembered going. Or being invited to any for that matter He really didn't have many friends to tell you the truth. Martin lived in fear that what ever he kept bottled inside could be very very dangerous. If he only knew then what he knows now.

Martin had one of his nights. He woke in his room, face down on the floor covered in blood. Yet he had not a wound. Needless to say he freaked. Quickly he washed, destroyed the clothes. Frightened at what he could have possiblely done the evening before. Soon he was startled by a sudden click of the telly, yet he was the only one in the room. BBC news reported a huge cattle slaughter at a near by farm. Looks as if some wild animal had torn them to pieces.

That is when the voice was louder than ever. A howl pierced his ears. And one word echoed in his mind...Brother.

Despite his inward struggles, Martin graduated with honers from Oxford. He devoted much of his time in the study of Lycanthropy while begining a new practice.

Martin tended to keep to himself as always. He felt it safer that way. Only people he really came to know where his patients and their problems. Everything was going well. But like all good things they must come to an end. Martin come to fancy one young lady.

Very smart she was. They were in love and to be married. That is until she found out of his secret. She thought him to be some evil demon, and rejected him. Said she feared him. Stupid girl. Martin was crushed and even more so was his counterpart. Poor girl. All she can do now is sit in her padded room and rock herself. Repeating, the eyes. I know those eyes.

That was more than 5 years ago. Since then Martin has traveled the world. Finding as much as he can about his affliction. He has also learned it's not really an affliction. More of a gift. He has also learned control.

Now with his parents gone. A rather large inheritance to watch over. Martin has left England behind. To start a new life. To go where no one knows him or his secrets. He has set up a practice here in Shadow City. Bought a home by the quiet wooded area where he loves to be. And now maybe he can go on. As a lone wolf, his only companion the night.
