"emma" is canadian and "kelley" is american. the two of them have 'played' in other environs together and it was only natural that they come to the City RPG as 'real sisters', together. Present the sisters dumont are independently wealthy entrepreneurs, having established a number of 'upscale' Spa & Health Clubs in several major cities, known simply as "#r-dumonts(duMont's)". intitially established in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the success led them to build next in the warmer health conscious climate of Miami. from there, the sisters duMont opened an operation in Chicago, then Dallas and finally in Los Angeles. it was in LA the sisters met Rachel Caine, who suggested they come to the City and open a "duMont's" there. Past the dumont sisters' lives were priviledged ones growing up. their father, a successful stockbroker and sometimes day-trader, made his fortune in the 70's oil boom and later added immensely to his fortune during the "dot com" days of technology start-ups. from their early childhood, they were sent to expensive private schools and given virtually everything a child to ask for. in return, each was expected to hold down "paying jobs" and keep their own individual savings (their parents' way of teaching themn the "value of a dollar"). from being 'car-hops' at local drive-in restaurants, to waitresses, baby-sitters and whatever odd job they could find, the girls learned the value of hard work (even though they were given most everything). this life-lesson handed down to them from their parents would later pay-off in ways neither could imagine growing up. their mother was an independent lady with a strong devotion to charity work. she met their father early in life when she was a highly paid model and aspiring actress. their courtship was a quick one...for each knew from their very first meeting that they were meant for each other. about a year after they married, their mother gave up modeling and turned her attention to charity work ... helping arrange for celebrities to donate personal items for auctions to raise money for food kitchens, abused and battered wives shelters, as well as several far-reaching programs aimed toward the inner-city under-priviledged schools. it was their mother's lessons and personal examples that helped "balance" the development of emma and kelley emma, the older of the two embraced the sense of "giving" more so than her younger sister kelley. emma was always the studious one, but not without her 'wild side' growing up ... she would skip school and party with boys much older than herself, yet her grades were always excellent and later (after she "settled down" a little) she went to top universities to study phliosophy and psychology. to this day, emma is the one who reflects upon life, it's meaning and underlying philosophy. she is generous with her money is giving to charities and those less fortunate, truly she is a 'deep thinker' and a warm caring soul with whoever she meets. kelley, is perhaps the 'still wild one' of the two. never quite getting it out of her system, she tends to flirt more actively and play the "party tease" to this day. kelley embraced her father's drive for business, and while she continues her mother and older sister's generous charitable giving, she is more inclined to see an 'opportunity' and develop it into a profitable activity. the lives of the dumont sisters changed in a most tragic way one day while both were out traveling through Europe on a summer adventure. thier parents, on their way to join the girls in Paris, were tragically killed when a terrorist bomb exploded onboard their plane over the Atlantic. devastated, thier parents gone, the girls had no one else in their lives other than each other. it was the lessons of life given them by their parents that sustained them during this horrendous crisis and together they found the strengths of the other to lean on and to move forward. yes, the girls inherited a small fortune from their parent's estate and for the first year or two the girls tried to find meaning in their lives by traveling and visiting countries around the world until they found themselves on the front page of French and English tabloids attesting to their wild activities. it was, at that time and place the two of them looked into themselves and each other. they moved back to the only real "home" they knew .... outskirts of Toronto Ontario Canada and opened their first Health Club & Spa. rest assured...even though the two are sisters in every sense of the word, they are as similar as they are different from one another; they are as " two sides of the same dumont coin" ~smiling~ we hope you will take time to get to know us. we are thrilled to be a part of the City and truly wish to contribute in positive ways to the fun & enjoyment of everyone! Personal Insights the duMont sisters own and operate their 6th upscale Health Club & Spa, known simply as #r-dumonts(duMont's) on south 9th Avenue. they signed a long term-lease with Darian Bloom at the #r-rsitower(Towers), residing in a 6th floor #r-ourcondo(Penthouse) emma continues her heartfelt giving of time, and money to charitable organizations across the globe. emma loves to shop and, like her sister, is currently unattached. she enjoys long walks in the park, deep discussions on most any subject and tends to party hard with members of the opposite sex only. some men see only the beauty of her form, the shape of her body and do not consider that she is the thoughtful, emotional one ... and those men soon discover they are 'crossed off her list' and forgotten. the man that can make his way into emma's heart is one who adores her insight and her soul as much, if not more, than her clear and apparent beauty. kelley strives to maintain the 'financial aspects' of their businesses, yet is also prone to spending money wildly and partying...perhaps more so than her sister (and that is saying quite a bit). kelley enjoys the pleasures of both sexes, but don't let her 'soft flirty outward appearance' fool you ... she can be a stern task mistress when needed. as with her sister, kelley has an underlying personality deeper than the beauty of her flesh, and 'crossing her' can never lead to anything 'good' for she can call out her 'devious scheming' mind when needed (lessons learned from her father's business-style)
