Once upon a time there was a 12yr old orphan girl that strived to be something more than the average person. She found herself adopted not long after, to a blue collar family of mediocre means. The only thing she ever asked for was dance lessons, to which her new mother readily agreed. There she excelled beyond belief. It was a great relief to her new mother, who found her daughters demeanor something to be concerned about. She wasn't the overly social kind, and in fact was often the cause of several bouts in school. Not that she was a bully, quite the contrary. She was the savior for the children who would find themselves getting beat up for milk money, or their shoes. Still, her parents were very strict, trying to encourage the good Samaritan quirk, but discipline the violence. Often they would ask her, if her parents beat her, or treated her badly, and that is why she was in the orphanage at such a late age. She never had an answer for them, and it always remains a point they wished she would speak on. But what she never told them, what she has never told anyone, is that she simply can't remember.

As time grew on, she put all of her effort and energy into ballet, her favorite style of dance above all. It didn't take long before she was accepted into a dance troupe and began to make headlines. Any and all money she made was saved, horded away for some greater purpose that even she wasn't entirely sure of. But one evening, after walking home from her rehearsals, she found the door to her parents house wide open. She searched it over high and low, cleaning her way through the house in a meticulous manner until she reached their bedroom. There... is where it all ended. Nothing was misplaced here, but written on the mirror in her mothers lipstick was a strange message.

Deu. 19:21

She called the police shortly there after, and took a seat on her parents bed. She was stoic, calm, and vaguely distracted. When the law officials arrived, she was rather mute, muttering things about the house being a mess, and how she couldn't leave it that way. Questions were raised as to the writing on the mirror, and she had no clue, shaking her head. Naturally she was the first suspect and was taken in for questioning. It was there she learned one of the plausible meanings to that written code. Deuteronomy. The Bible. "Have no pity; let life be given for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot."

She was let go after that, being 18 and no evidence to charge her. Rejoining the troupe, she went on living in her parents house, and back to her daily life. But her nights... now those had changed. She found herself lurking in shadows, watching the world that surrounded her. She had the savings she had, and the life insurance awards from the loss of two parents to be awarded once they were declared dead. It was quite the sum, and as she searched for her source of retribution, she invested in stocks to let the amount grow.

It was during this time that she began to know and except the fury that burned inside of her. She never took kindly to being touched without permission. Dance was her heart and soul, and they were not up for grabs to the highest bidder. Nor the lowliest cheapskate that believed this wee girl could be bullied to offer further services for the prices to her shows. So when one such cretin chose to take advantage of her on the way home... it turned out to be his final transaction. He was found some time later, the smell alerting passers by. His trachea collapsed, thus leaving him to suffocate to death. It never did come back to her. Thankfully.

From there she began to look into this... license. The cost was ... insane... but she was motivated. All of her savings, every dime from investing her parents money including the life insurance, a second mortgage on the house... and she barely covered the cost. But the instant she received it, she was already searching for work. She was like a force of nature. Keen on jobs the required the taking of life. But no matter the course of her life, no matter the jobs, the pay, the debt....

Always... she is dancing.
