History -
Born in Hawaii. Her Polynesian mother and her Japanese father, Jynx was brought up in a very loving family, the youngest of seven brothers and sisters. Named Jynx because her Father said he jinxed himself when questioned if he was just stopping with a just a dozen children.

Jynx, even as a child has always wanted to be a doctor. She had this mindset at a very young age while she watched intently as the doctors put stitches in her brother’s forehead. She breezed through Pre-Med, and then Medical school, she was showing great promise as an up and coming surgeon, when massaging a heart, she was nicked through latex gloves, and was infected. Jynx was unable no loner able to be surgeon, but instead of letting her world fall apart, she switched rolls.

Jynx is now the Chief Medical Examiner. She is also who the other Shifters come to when they have booboos.

Control Shift

Squeeze: Jynx can wriggle through solid walls, doors or other obstacles by manipulating any/every small space. (Rats can fit into any space due to their bodies being made of cartilage) In animal form, hardly anything can stop her, in human form, she makes contortionist look stiff. (In both forms, she can get through anything she can fit her head through)

Lick: Jynx doesn’t carry the disease or toxins that some rats or rat shifters tend to. By licking a wound she can draw out poisons/toxins (even silver) and causes the healing process to speed up. The draw back to this if the wound is caused by silver, she gets very drained and ill for 24 hours until they can work through her system. (This does not mean that she herself is resistant to Silver). Jynx also can not heal herself.

Eidetic Memory: Jynx can remember, with perfect detail, things seen and heard. Documents, photographs, conversations etc., can be committed to memory with only minor concentration. (This doesn’t mean if she passes by a conversation, she has to be actively listening.) Under stressful conditions involving numerous distractions it becomes even more difficult.
