Ginger was born just outside Seattle, to a middle-class family. They were not wealthy by any means, but she was never left wanting for necessities. She was a beautiful young woman, intelligent, well-liked. But she was never really understood. She was always 'just another pretty face' in the big city. So when the wrong guy came along and gave her the right kind of attention, and the right kind of excuses, she followed blindly and took the opportunity to begin.. running. A bad relationship later, she packed up in the middle of the night and ran, again. Taking only what she could carry as she jumped on a bus and was on her way to anywhere. She bounced place to place, city to city, town to town, until she ended up in The City. No phone calls, no notes, no words left, just a shadow left behind and a new life ahead.
Once in The City she found a dive hotel to pay by the week. Found she has a meager bank account, some pocket change, And found.. Hope.
She survived on her long legs, a flirtacious smile, and the kindness of men. All of it designed to hide.. everything. A woman of chaos, conflict, contradiction. What you see is rarely what you get. But, even in The City, she tried to be just another pretty face.
Life changes..
Someone unexpectedly came into her life. Someone that bluntly and without apology demanded that she be honest with herself, and with others. Through her inner battles, her emotional turmoil, through countless hours of heart wrenching honesty and effort..
She's started to find herself again and to face the one thing that has caused her so much heartache and joy..
And in the process, she's found something else as well..
