History – The most significant part of Gideon’s history has been his diagnosis of selective mutism. He had always been more of an independent child, wanting to stay outside in the fresh air all day rather than play inside with his siblings. <br><br>Once he enrolled in school, teachers became worried about his quiet demeanor. In the age of school violence, he has always been targeted by officials for being quiet and stand-offish in class.<br><br>
It wasn’t until winter break that Gideon was ever violent. He was attacked by a wereleopard while studying for a science class in the woods one night, and within a few weeks experienced his first change. He didn’t return to school, worried that people would see him as more of a freak than before.<br><br>
A native of Seattle, he’s trying his best to seek out people who know what’s going on with him.
