Born of Italian-Irish parentage, Erato, was very much her Muggle Father's daughter until her pureblood Mother's death being the catalyst for her sudden interest in Magic and the Wizarding world.
There was much to catch up on, and Erato, slightly timid in this new world and on foreign soil at that, was both curiously excited at the prospect of this new world and way of life ...yet greatly embarrassed to be so lacking in knowledge, relevant education and experience. It was her Mother's greatest wish that she study at Hogwart's University, reading Ancient runes and Arithmancy, being gifted in these areas herself. Erato now finds herself entering the first year of her University studies as a Hufflepuff student, slightly alarmed and unusually timid for a woman in her mid-twenties,
Her Mother was a gifted seer, as were many of her lineage. Although this ability has not fully filtered down to Erato, it sometimes manifests in her dreams, something which, until recently, she found both disturbing and difficult to acknowledge. The Dark Art of Necromancy, though not offered for study at the University, is where she finds herself drawn and this will be the focus of her extra-curricular endeavors.
