Character Name: Emily Hamilton Age: 23 Occupation : Year 3. Major Undecided. House : Gryffindor History: Emily is a Gryffindor who returns Hogwarts at an older age. She had spent a few years with her father searching for her mother before coming back to her 3rd year at Hogwarts. She returns this year with her pet cat, Nydia, in tow. She is unsure what major she should declare but hopes that as the year progresses, her purpose and direction will become clearer. Having been away so long, it was like starting anew again. Only time would tell how things would go. Joseph Hamilton is a Muggle from Fermanagh in Northern Ireland. His family were country folk who farmed and fished in the lakelands. He lived an uneventful childhood, traversing the seasons of cold and wet. Always dreaming of bigger, better things. His heart was rooted in his family. Even when he went to London, they were always on his mind. Joseph met Emily’s mother, Sylvia Lee, when they had both traveled to London. He had come searching for a better future. She had come to the United Kingdom searching for magic and fairys that she grew up reading about. Sylvia Lee probably had unrecognized magic in her blood. It never manifested in the forms we are familiar with. She had brewed concoctions of potions with Chinese medicines and herbs back in East Asia. Some were said to expel evil spirits from the madly possessed bodies of relatives. Others granted love and youth to their seekers. Her potions always seemed to work better than the other witches in the area. People thought perhaps her repetitive incantations whilst preparing the concoctions were the source of her difference. Appearance: Emily has a mixed background of Chinese and Irish in her. Her hair falls about her face in dark locks with deep black chocolate undertone. She fantasizes about having red hair like her Aunt Mabel but dreads that it will clash with her creamy beige skin tone. Every now and again, she succumbs and streaks some part of her hair red as consolation. Under sunlight, she tans. During the winter, her skin pales to a quiet glow. Her eyes are brown with finely arched eyebrows. She stands at a petite 5’4”. Celebrity Claim : Anna Paquin Personality : Emily is a generous and good hearted person who often does what she feels is right. She is a little lost but works hard at her school work. Her spirit is a complex range of facets – from cheeky to serious, witty and funny to completely missing the point, innocent yet sometimes completely aware of her body and what she can do with it.
