Many years ago, the skies over Beware opened up and spat out a gleaming silver ship. The wounded machine was promptly on the ground and it took the pilot a matter of moments to exit the wreck. But he only found himself lost in a world he didn't know.

Born to an Earth ruined by wars, he spent nearly a decade of his life fighting them and bringing peace to his little blue-green planet called home. But what does a general and war hero do when there are no more wars to fight? Why become a test pilot, what else? A group of scientists were trying to develop a machine that travels through time. So Devin signed up along with his good friend, Loyal Freebyrd. Devin made the first journey solo.

When he popped the hatch of the ship, he was in for a suprise. He hadn't merely travelled a few years back in time, but over a thousand, perhaps even more than two thousand. But it turned out to be the best change for his life. He met and married Kio Spiritwalker, and they had a daughter, Starlight and son, StandingBear. His new life as chief of the shaman's camp had changed him considerably.

However things change. After over 20 years of marriage, he and his wife have gone their separate ways. He now lives in an old mill that he purchased, along with his son.

He lived there alone for quite a while, until one day he received a visit from his old friend Zoe Fenimore. The two continued to see eachother on a regular basis and soon, Devin proposed. They are now married and she is expecting their first child.



Weapons

Devin carries several weapons at all times. He has two ranged weapons, a triple barrel pistol under his jacket, and a pistolaxe strapped to his back. On his left hip, he carries his sword. It was specially crafted and then enchanted with fire. He controls the flames through his own will and is also able to shoot fire from the sword at will. The sword also raises his resistances to fire and heat. At any time he could be carrying one or more throwing knives.
