Detective Sgt Dallas

The psychological was a barely scraped by but she made the qualifying entry and was accepted. Dallas worked her way through the department and was promoted step by step. She did well until the new governing party came to town and then she moved down to Dade County. It was there that she began to specialize in sex crime investigations. She used that on the job knowledge and experience to sit for the detective exam, passing on the first try and coming out in the top three from her department.

Back in 2005, she took a leave of absence from her post at the suggestion of her Commissioner and then decided to move to the city just last year when she was called in to assist Detective Johnny Johnson with the "Sex Club" serial killer case.

Personal background:

Dallas is the only daughter with four older brothers, all cops along with her now deceased father. Her mother died in childbirth, and she's estranged from her brothers.

Dallas seems to have inherited the tendency towards alcoholism that ended her father's celebrated career before he could be promoted to Assistant Chief of Police in Phoenix. She was rumored to have been in rehab during her leave of absence but there is nothing noted on her record.

Lived with Deputy Chief of Police for Dade County, Walter Pierce, for two years.

That relationship ended two weeks before she left Miami for her new assignment.

She's currently the senior partner with Bruno Cavatini who she met when he was assigned as her protection during a series of personal threats.

Dallas was shot in the left knee, shattering the kneecap during a shootout with the notorious serial killers; the Johnsons and is finally back on her feet.

Last known boyfriend was that of a local bartender, Doug Ray, a former witness she met at Lefty's. No current romantic attachments at the moment. Focused primarily on her work but never say never. Things change when you least expect them to.

OOC: Player is open to most play if it seems reasonable for her character. Just message her mailroom or whisper to her. Player behind the character is not looking for anything more than good play and doesn't confuse VT with RT so she's not looking for a relationship outside of play.
