Cogito Seghesio
Wayward scion of the Seghesio family, from near the vineyard countryside of Piedmonte. Left mostly to his own devices in a lovely countryside, Seghesio developed an eye for beauty and this found expression in sketches, which were quickly noticed. Sent to the Michaelangelo School for Young Artistes in Naples, through an intense four year internship, he emerged as one of the bright stars on the horizon of Italian Art and Culture. Knowing that Seghesio was shy and reserved even when in his best spirits, the aging Uncle Amasio, in his wisdom, sent Seghesio to the New World, the USA of the new millennium - hoping an American Signorina would capture the heart of his brilliant, though shy, nephew and bring out in him the boldness which Uncle Amasio thought was appropriate in the heir to the Seghesio family fortunes.

PAST:
Cogito spent the years after his training as an artiste in wandering the Art Alleys of Europe, often trekking and exploring - living a lifestyle entirely separate from the wealth which was at his disposal. Never a ladies man, and obsessed with his work, he had a few effervescent affairs with young, equally intense and scatter minded artiste ladies, too young to draw him into a lasting relationship, but providing him with brief companionships so important to a young man's self-esteem. None created a lasting impression though each adorns a place in his canvases. There were three such affairs and this is the background behind his triptych entitled, 'The Three Sirens'.
PRESENT:
Cogito stays with the Right Honourable Lady Jorgensen Espositio of the City. He resides with Jorgensen at Jorgensen's Farm on Empire Island. A new arrival in the land of opportunity, Cogito has already found the lady who rules his heart and is in the process of shifting his art-studio to the United States. Typical of Cogito, he is innocent in his exploration of the blossoming relationship with the Lady Jorgensen - especially thrilled that this relationship evolves around his establishment as an artiste extraordinaire in the new world. First steps in this direction have already been initiated with arrangements including (Caitlyn Slade's gallery) The Brulle Gallery in process. In The City, he is an entreprenuer and propritor of an art studio and gallery located in The Heights on Edgewater Street and is known as Studio di Arte - Cogito's Studio. While basking in the fragrance of the wrap of protection and mentoring provided by the powerful and beautiful Lady Jorgensen, Cogito, though in a long phase of submission to her presence and control, is bound to show, in due course of the passing years, the presence of the Seghesio family spirit of leadership, agression and stubborn protective ownership.
FUTURE:
Cogito's eye has already caught the richness and diversity of urban America and the genius of his soul now awakens with the storm of canvases and art works which will ascend and then descend in a rush upon the cultural alleys of the new world ! Little does he himself know that soon he will be intensely absorbed in his creative work, aptly supported in worldly matters by his lady love. Entirely surprising will be the handing over of the European properties to his exclusive ownership and governance by Don Amasio, awakening a more mature Cogito, the inheritor of the Seghesio family fortunes. His present is a preparation for this future which even now unfolds around him, unknown to himself. Soon there will be challenges to his very existence and his core values, and it is to be seen how he rises to the tasks of the future. Emergencies in Lady Jorgensen's business empire will also make him grow and mature fast. And the time between them will blossom into a season of love, a harvesting of joy year after year, and a seeding of their future happiness in a series of children, who will entirely become the focus of their hearts and merged sensitivities.
