Officer Coby Davis grew up in the Bronx, and served over a decade with the NYPD. He transferred to the city last September, following a passionate relationship with Brianna Sheridan that almost ended in marriage, he met the love of his life, Hayley Jacobs. Coby and Hayley are engaged to be married and live on Shady Lane in the City with two cats Shadow and Oliver. During Officer Davis’s short stay in the city, he has been involved in two high profile shootings. The first involved the Vatos gang. Sgt. Maritza Rodriguez and Davis while on a routine patrol happened upon a drug deal gone bad. As they approached Barton Street and Mayberry Lane, they witnessed two members of the Vatos gang shooting two individuals that had just delivered drugs to them. A shootout ensued that claimed the life of Sergeant McDuffy, and several members of the Vatos gang, including their leader “Toro.” The Vatos have not been heard from since. Sergeant Rodriguez also took a bullet in the shootout but has fully recovered. The second was the “Alley Rapist.” Davis continues to patrol the City and has been known to frequent karaoke and open mic events where he showcases his musical talent.
