Born on December 8, 1976 to Catherine and Lt. Col. Nathan Augustine, Carlisle's beginnings in this world were pleasantly uneventful. However, that trend would quickly fade as the duties of her father would have her traveling the United States and most of Europe throughout her life.
She spent the last years of high school in Cork County, Ireland, where she met her dear friend Kiara Wylde. She fell in love with her carefree ways, joining her for jam sessions and local pub shows. Kiara and her mates would continue on to great success, Carlisle would continue on to college.
After moving back to New York, Carlisle attended Fordham University where she met Michael Roussau; a charming yet devilish Art History Major. She continued her studies in Communication and Media Studies, earning a meager living from independent published works in various magazines. The relationship between Michael and Carlisle always seemed to fall short of stable. She ended her engagement to Michael not long after leaving college. The turmoil increased as both of her parents fell ill, having only some seven months between their passing. Carlisle had taken time after the loss of her parents to continue her efforts as an aspiring novelist. She was blessed with several successful publications, but had decided to take a sabbatical. She moved to Chicago where she reunited with Michael. They made amends and were married in Chicago during a private ceremony.
Circumstances again have changed, and Carlisle now finds herself in the beautiful city of New Orleans, where she hopes to revive her career and sense of self.
