bianca was born in Minnesota to an alcoholic mother and a physically and sexually abusive father. Her childhood was a living hell of lies, pain, physical and sexual abuse and deception behind the facade of respectability and wealth her supreme court judge father built around his family. She learned to appear to be someone very different than she is inside, a lesson that sometimes yet lingers. Only her body bears witness to the lost soul inside. Its cobwebs of scars are the legacies from the times she hurt herself just to see if she could feel. Music was a lifeline that made it possible to survive the horrors of her childhood. the child dreamed of being a singer, a dancer...yet as she grew, it was hard to hold onto those dreams when she couldn't seem to fight back from the death of her spirit.
PRESENT
In the years since she left home at the age of 18, bianca's made it to the top of the charts as a singer and dancer, starting when she was discovered by the owner of an international conglomerate that included a major record label. Soon after, she entered a nationally televised singing contest, American Superstar, and though she finished in second place, it was enough to land her a multi-year, multi-CD contract with Robert Gast's Millenial record label.
In her personal life, she's had a harder time. Her abusive father, Jose, was murdered shortly after she moved east. She's been pregnant twice, losing the first child to a miscarriage caused by the damage done in her childhood abuse. She's survived two suicide attempts. She was married at 19 to Irwin (Win) Shyster, a City lawyer, but the couple's happiness was short-lived when Win died of cancer only 8 months after their wedding. After losing Win, she dated several men with varying success..but somehow no relationship seemed to be what she yearned for. But then, she had a lot to learn about herself, first. She's learned that the man who'd abused her as she grew up wasn't her natural father. She was abducted, and interrogated by a Columbian drug cartel her older brother was involved in. From there, she was sold into one slavery ring, and then into another that continues to come back to haunt her. However, in the midst of the worst of her trials, she's also met her soulmate, Robert Hersfield, fallen in love and has given birth to his child, Michael. Together, the couple has found a love and a happiness together that bianca had only dreamed of for most of her life and within that love, a way to heal. It's worth fighting for.
