History: At fifteen, she woke up in a hospital in Sacramento, California. A young girl, small and alone, in a bed with white sheets and white blankets and clear tubes running from her arms and nose to machinery that beeped and dripped and hissed.
She wore bandages, had an ache in her head that just wouldn't quit and was missing her memory... and her tongue.
No one ever reported her missing. No one ever came for her, and after she'd healed from her injuries, she'd been inducted into the foster system for the remaining three adolescent years.
Now, she's of age and on her own. She found her way to Seattle. While there, she'd learned of the possibility of family (or family history) in Louisiana. So here she is.
